Alitalia Airlines required a new customer-focused website to simplify the search, booking, and payment experience.
I led the UI and UX designers, working with a brilliant development team in the PosteCom (Poste Italiane) environment.
Keeping the consistency with the feel of the desktop website, we adapted the same experience on the mobile website. User-oriented, with the UX team, we improved the personal area, caring not just for the profile set but also working on customised offers, up-selling and cross-selling.
The experience starts from the homepage, where the user can find all he needs, with immediate access to all services. All functions must be in an engaging, charming backdrop oriented to sell flights and travel packs.
The big challenge was keeping the experience easy, intuitive, and user-oriented in all areas, especially for flight searching and booking.
